FAIR (Student Complaints)

This page describes the role of the University Registry in discharging the University's responsibility for complaints from students.

The University Registrar and Clerk to the Board of Governors is responsible for management and operation of the Framework for Amicable Issues Resolution (FAIR), conducting investigations as required, and for linking on behalf of the University with the Office of the Independent Adjudicator.  As far as impartiality allows, the University Registrar and Clerk to the Board of Governors also liaises with Academic Schools and gives advice, guidance and support to enable them to undertake the initial stages of all Student complaints, adhering to both University and the Office of Independent Adjudicator’s (OIA) procedures.
