The Academic Office must approve and authorise all External Examiner claim forms.

Payment of travel and subsistence expenses

The Finance Department is responsible for the payment of travel and subsistence costs for all External Examiners. Valid receipts must support all claims.

Payment of Examiner Fees

Post-graduate and Under-graduate examiner fees are paid by the Human Resource Department.

PhD and Masters Examiner fees are paid by the Finance Department.
