This webpage contains information about the services offered by the Department of Facilities Management at the University of Wales, Newport

The Department is divided into three main sections with responsibilities allocated as follows:

Estates Services:-

Building and Maintenance, Grounds Maintenance, Furniture and Fittings, Environmental, Space Allocation and timetabling, Transport and Telecommunications infrastructure.

Facilities Services:-

Catering, Conferences and Business Development Office, Sports Centre, Accommodation, Premises and Cleaning  

Health and Safety Office:-

Responsible for providing advice and guidance to University Schools and Departments on occupational Health and Safety issues.

The three sections all have business/operational and development plans which have been developed from the Department of Estates and Facilities Management Strategy.
